New to Yoga


  • Yoga is for everybody, all shapes, sizes and levels of ability.
  • You will gain strength and flexibility as your practice progresses.
  • You’ll begin to breath fuller and with ease as you relax into your practice.
  • Feel the sensations in your body, move with your breath and listen to your innate wisdom, you are your best teacher.
  • Come early to introduce yourself, get familiar with environment, sign in and feel relaxed when you begin.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.
  • Bring a mat if you have one, a hand towel & water. We have blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets for you.
  • Rental mats & mat towels available.
  • We recommend practicing on an empty stomach; allow 1 ½ – 2 hours after a meal.
  • The room is between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit, enough warmth to feel cozy yet allow you to feel the internal heat you build through practice.
  • You will leave feeling recharged with vitality without feeling depleted later.
